Who am I ?

Hi, I’m Camille — a French ceramicist based in New York, and the founder of Nomad Hands Workshops.

I started my journey with clay in Paris, teaching myself to shape, carve, and fire ceramics that embrace imperfection. My pieces are raw, poetic, and textured — designed to tell a story rather than fit into perfection. Over time, I began collaborating with restaurants, cafés and chefs, creating custom pieces that brought beauty and uniqueness to their tables.

But ceramics, for me, have always been more than objects. They are experiences — tactile, grounding, and deeply human. Teaching quickly became as meaningful as creating. In Paris, I offered workshops in my own studio, in shared creative spaces, and often directly in offices and cafés. I saw how clay could transform not just the hands but also the energy of a room.

When I moved to New York, few months ago, I wanted to carry this idea with me. Nomad Hands was born out of this belief:

« Creativity can exist anywhere — in boardrooms, rooftops, kitchens, or workspaces. »

My goal is to bring beauty, poetry, and ease into professional and private spaces. Through on-site ceramic workshops, I create moments of pause — experiences that help people connect, focus, and see their environment with fresh eyes.

Whether it’s a team-building session, a morning creative coffee, or a celebration workshop, Nomad Hands transforms ordinary spaces into temporary creative studios — inspiring people to slow down, play, and create together.
