Whether it’s for a team bonding session, a creative break during an off-site, or a special celebration like a birthday or a wedding, I deliver a fully hosted, mobile, workshop experience to you.

Every session includes all material, clay, flower set up, decoration, protective table covers and the glazing+fire sessions after the workshop by myself. Feel free to add some extras to your event : breakfast/brunch option, charcuterie boards… to make it unique !

Hand shape
your own ceramic object

Duration : 2h

Ideal for : Creative breaks, after-works events, short-format team activities

I guide every participant step by step into the process of hand modeling their own ceramic object, creating a unique object to keep. It can be pinching, coiling or slab techniques, depending of what you choose when you book the session. No prior experience needed - just curiosity and good vibes ! After the session, I will keep the pieces, bring them to the workshop for two fire sessions and glazing process. After that, I will drop the pieces to your office so you can use it !

Result : your object in natural clay color with a transparent glaze on it

Option 1

Hand shape and paint your own ceramic object

Duration : 3h

Ideal for : Team-building activities, creative after-works or afternoon breaks

This workshop is more that just shaping your object : you will also paint it to make it personnalized ! I will guide you into the process of decorating and painting your piece : this full circle experience is meditative and playful, ideal for deeper creative engagement.

Result : your object with your colorful decoration and a transparent glaze on it

FAQ - All you need to know

Nomad Hands Workshops is a traveling ceramic studio offering hands-on clay and painting workshops in NYC. I means that I come to you with everything needed for a beautiful and meaningful moment.

When you book your slot, you have the choice between hand-building a piece or painting a ready-made ceramic piece.

All workshops are mobile - it means that I come to you home, your office or your chosen space with everything we need. You don’t need a studio or a special setup. I only ask for a space equiped with a table and a chair for each participant to the workshop. It can be an office room or your living room, it doesn’t matter ! I will also need to access a water point before the class and after the class, that’s all !
You can choose between two activities : hand-building a piece (one for each participant) or hand-build AND paint it, for a whole experience !
HAND BUILDING : Create unique pieces from scratch, guided step-by-step by Camille. Perfect for all levels, especially for beginners ! Don’t worry, everyone will get its own piece at the end of the course, I promise.
HAND BUILDING and CERAMIC PAINTING : First learn how to build your piece, then personalize it with paint to make it unique, using professional ceramic paints and tools. Camille will guide you during this super creative course so you can express yourself !
All tools, clay and material are included in all reservations. A flower /candle decoration is also included, but you can choose a to upgrade your moment with adds-on like food or drinks ! I will be in charge of the installation of the event and will take care of your furnitures, don’t worry !
The glazing process and the kiln sessions are also included and I am in charge of this part. I will take care of your objects and give them back to you when they are ready.
The workshops last about 2 or 3 hours, depending of your choice, but can be extended or adapted for special events on request.
If you want to organise a workshop with a lot of people, we can also separate the participants in different groups, session after session on the same day.
For private sessions, 4 to 8 people.
For group events : from 6 ! The maximum of participant per session is 12, and if you are more we can do 2 sessions the same day.
Not really ! Everything is clean, contained and designed for indoor use. I protect your furniture and then leave the space just as I found it : clean ! Don’t worry about your outfit, those sessions are not messy for you - just a little bit of dust on your hands and you just need to wash them at the end at the session.
I take your pieces with me, back to glaze and fire them twice. They are returned to you (delivery or by myself) 3-4 weeks later.
For all events, you can cancel and be refunded up to 7 days before the class. Up to 48h before the class, I can’t refund, but I will try my best to accomodate rescheduling when possible.
For on-demand events : when you book the workshop, to guaranty your booking, it will be asked that you pay a part of the total price (50%). This part can’t be refund once paid.
If you want to cancel, please let me know up to 1 week before the class, but the account can’t be refunded.
To reschedule the workshop, please ask up to 1 week before the class and we will manage together to find a solution that fits you the best. After this date, I will ask you to pay the entire price of the workshop.
I currently serve New York City 4 boroughs (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens). For areas outside the city, just reach out and we’ll see what is possible !
